A WOMAN from Taunton has been fined £72 for speeding.
Diana Moldovan, of Belvedere Road, appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court on June 17.
She 32-year-old drove at 36mph on a 30mph road. Her driving licence was endorsed with three points, and she was also ordered to pay a £28 victim surcharge.
Possession
A MAN from Wellington was fined £120 for possession of cocaine.
Aiden Turner, of Drakes Park, appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court on June 19.
The 28-year-old was also ordered to pay £85 in costs.
Speeding
A MAN from Frome as been fined £75 for speeding.
Richard Monks, of Valley View, appeared at North Somerset Magistrates’ Court on June 18.
The 45-year-old drove at 83mph on the M4 motorway. He was ordered to pay a surcharge of £30 and his driving licence was endorsed with three points.

Train failure
A MAN from Frome has been fined £660 for failing to buy a train ticket.
Joshua Hughes, of Nunny Barton, was sentenced at North Somerset Magistrates’ Court on June 12.
The 19-year-old was ordered to pay compensation of £9.10, a £264 surcharge and costs of £180, as well as the fine.
