Patrick Galbraith – Uncommon Ground
An author is set to showcase his book, Uncommon Ground, in Taunton.
Patrick Galbraith will present his work at Brendon Books on Wednesday, May 21, at 7pm, with tickets available at ticketsource.co.uk/brendonbooks/patrick-galbraith-uncommon-ground/e-rrprqm.
The book explores public access to rural Britain and its implications.
This follows the largest UK land access protest since the 1930s, which took place in Dartmoor in January 2023.
Protesters demanded open access to all rural areas, arguing it would aid conservation and hold landowners accountable.
Galbraith investigates the validity of these claims, providing readers with a deep dive into the ongoing debate.
